Sunday afternoon saw a team of Norwich City Legends play Inter Forever at Carrow Road, all in aid of the Community Sports Foundation’s new hub named the Nest.
Raising money for a worthy charity was the name of the game and although the Norwich City Legends squad came out 1-2 losers on the pitch, there were no losers really.
Inter Forever brought a lot of stars and some World Cup, Champions League, Serie A and UEFA Cup winners with them. The game was played in an excellent spirit, although Francesco Colonnese’s early tackle on Darren Eadie was a little near the mark!
As you would expect, many of those involved took to their Twitter accounts after the game to praise the event and generally talk up what was a great afternoon out.
