Norwich Linked To Galatasaray Striker And Peruvian Defender

Norwich City may have only just been confirmed as Championship Title winners but planning for next season and a crack at staying in the Premier League has been ongoing for several months, meaning that all sorts of different players are being looked at and linked with the Canaries.

According to El Bocon in Peru, Norwich and Sheffield United are considering Peruvian right back, Luis Advincula as an option. With  Ivo Pinto and Felix Passlack leaving the club this summer, Max Aarons will be the only recognised right back at the club.

Advincula has just been relegated after a season long loan from Mexican side, Tigres, with Rayo Vallecano and the player is quoted as wanting to stay in Europe.

He’s 29 years old and he has 70 caps for Peru with Bundesliga and Turkish top flight experience too.

I’m not sure that at 29 he fits the demographic of players City are likely to look at and he’s going to have to be cheap too.

Another link for you, that does seem a little outlandish, unless it was possibly a loan, is a link to Galatasary striker, Mbaye Diagne.

It seems a little outlandish because he only moved to the Turkish giants in January 2019 for a reported 10m euros. Since then, he has 10 appearances and 8 goals under his belt.

This last fellow is a little trickier to find too much about other than he’s 27 years old, 6’4″ tall and he has a knack for finding the back of the net. He’s not playing every game and I’m struggling to find out why. Having signed a deal until 2023, any permanent deal is surely likely to be beyond City’s means although maybe a loan could be an option.

Anyway, another two names for your list.
