Norwich Linked With Swedish International

|

Hot on the heels of the news that Michael McGovern has signed a new two year deal with Norwich, we have speculation linking the Canaries with another goalkeeper and he has a bit of pedigree and an associated price tag.

A story being carried by Sport Witness is linking Norwich, along with Bournemouth, to Roma goalkeeper, Robin Olson.

The 29 year old Swedish International has 28 caps and was bought to replace Alisson last summer but he hasn’t had a great season as Roma have had a bang average season in Serie A.

They are currently eighth, having finished third last season and Olson has conceded 38 goals in 27 games with just 4 clean sheets.

A report from Calciomercato.com suggests that Roma are willing to sell Olson and are looking to replace him with Cagliari’s Alessio Cragno.

Roma paid €12m for Olson and it’s a fair bet that a deal that gets them their money back or thereabouts would be enough to seal a deal.
