Norwich Must Do Without Crucial Defender For Blackburn Trip

|

Daniel Farke has given his pre-match presser at Colney this afternoon and as usual, FC Bears from the Vital Norwich Forum has been listening.

Here is Bears’ assessment of the pre-Blackburn press conference.

“So Timm Klose misses out due to Farke wanting him to be 100% fit before he returns. He should be available for Forest on Boxing Day.

Kenny McLean is not going to be back in the first team until the new year, which will probably be in the FA Cup against Portsmouth.

Grant Hanley and Moritz Leitner are back and ready, having benefited from some extra training and rest. Hanley played 90 minutes for the U23s against Sunderland last Monday which will help with match fitness.

With four games in a short period, we are going to need all the squad.

Nothing on Christoph Zimmermann, so I think he’ll be okay.

The flu has passed.

I think he’ll go:

Krul

Aarons
Hanley
Zimmermann
Lewis

Tettey
Leitner

Hernandez
Stiepermann
Buendia

Pukki

Subs:

McGovern – Vrancic – Cantwell – Rhodes – Srbeny – Passlack – Godfrey

Personally, I would throw in Jordan Rhodes for Teemu Pukki, also Alex Tettey was so poor at Ashton Gate that I would consider Godfrey instead, despite the potential of this being Tettey’s 200th game for Norwich, and have Zimmermann and Hanley at the back.”
