Norwich have rejected a £2m bid from Cardiff City for Marley Watkins, according to Sun journalist, Phil Cadden.

Cadden has tweeted the following this afternoon from his Twitter account @pjcadden:

“Norwich have rejected a £2m bid from Cardiff for Marley Watkins. Follows on from Bristol City`s £1m offer which was knocked back last week. Told the Canaries won`t let the Wales winger leave Carrow Road in this window.”

What is it with Cardiff wanting Canary wingers? Yanic Wildschut has already joined Neil Warnock`s bluebirds on loan in this window.

I`m sure I`m not alone in thinking that £2m seems a decent amount of money for a player that has yet to do anything significant in a Norwich shirt. The fact there`s interest though, tells me there must be a good player in there somewhere.

I used to say that about Steven Naismith though…
