Norwich City are taking a look at Greek right back, Giannis Masouras according to a report from Sport24.gr

We all know that Norwich are short of cover there, despite Harrison Reed doing a sterling job recently in the absence of the (self) injured Ivo Pinto.

There were links to various defenders in January and it`s likely that Masouras is one of many being looked at.

In terms of what the report says and as I don`t speak or read Greek, I`ve turned to our old friend, Google Translate:

“Giannis Masouras is distinguished in this year’s AEL. 22-year-old Fulk performs the most productive season of his career with 21 innings (16 in the Super League and 5 in the Cup). Whether he was a right back when he played, or a hack, he had a presence in the ‘crimson’ games.

For the Patriot footballer they will travel the Norwich Scouts for the next few days in order to watch him closely. On Sunday (25/2, 17.15), AEL welcomes Platanias to AEL FC Arena, while for the 24th game on March 4 is scheduled play with Levadiakos, which will probably be checked by the British.

Within these 21 innings, Masoura has scored three goals. All three scored in the Cup, in the two quarter-finals with PAS Giannina. Norwich is in 12th place in the Championship, in the middle of the scoring (in the second category in England are 24 teams).”

The link I`ve provided is to the main site and not the article because, well, it`s all Greek to me! (Sorry)

Sounds like the lad is having something of a breakthrough season for AEL in the Greek Super League and at 21, his age is right.

Is he the one, or are there others to look at? I guess we won`t know till the summer.
