Norwich Take Three Slots In EFL Championship Team Of The Season

|

Norwich City have had three players named in the Sky Bet Championship Team Of The Season.

Max Aarons, Jamal Lewis and Teemu Pukki have had huge personal seasons in the Canaries’ squad and those achievements have been acknowledged in the voting process.

The Team is voted for by all 24 managers and Head Coaches in the Championship and Norwich ended up having the biggest single number of players ahead of both Leeds United and Sheffield United who have two each.

Here’s the full Sky Bet Championship Team Of The Season:

Goalkeeper
Darren Randolph (Middlesbrough)

Defenders
Max Aarons  (NORWICH CITY), Liam Cooper (Leeds United), Reece James (Wigan Athletic), Jamal Lewis (NORWICH CITY)

Midfielders
Oliver Norwood (Sheffield United), Kalvin Phillips (Leeds United), Jarrod Bowen (Hull City)

Forwards
Che Adams (Birmingham City), Billy Sharp (Sheffield United), Teemu Pukki (NORWICH CITY)

There are any number of other players that could’ve made this list, particularly from the league’s current top three sides.

Interesting to see that there’s no Pablo Hernandez? I thought he was the best player in the league by a country mile? At least that’s what I’ve read on Twitter 😉
