Norwich Talisman Is Forced Off Injured During International – Keep Everything Crossed

|

Norwich City’s in-form, goal scoring, superstar hero, Teemu Pukki was forced off after just 12 minutes of Finland’s UEFA Nations League match with Greece on Monday evening.

At the time of writing, which is while the game is still going on, there’s no word on how bad Pukki’s injury is and I doubt there’ll be much news until Tuesday at the earliest.

The best we can do, in fact, the only thing we can do, is to keep our fingers crossed that it’s not serious and is just precautionary. This is of course, potentially very worrying and I expect that Daniel Farke will be pacing around his living room and wringing his hands until he can get some news, or that might just be me.

Pukki has been a major influence on Norwich City’s season so far, having replaced Jordan Rhodes as the lone striker in Farke’s team and then bagging 6 goals for the Canaries and another 3 for his country, including a 91st-minute winner against Estonia last Friday night.

Keep everything crossed.
