One thing that I think we can safely assume about this tie is that it will be very competitive with both sides looking for a little run in the cup.
The draw was made live on BBC One on Monday evening, with Ruud Gullit drawing the home sides and Paul Ince drawing the away teams. Between them they conjured up one or two interesting match-ups other than our own tie.
Everton will play Lincoln, Tranmere or Southport will play Spurs and Accrington Stanley (who are they?) will be hosting Ipswich Town.
Solihull/Blackpool will play Arsenal, Manchester City will host Rotherham in Guardiola vs Warniola and Woking will host Premier league Watford.
Solihull or Blackpool will take on Arsenal and Chelsea will host Nottingham Forest and Wrexham or Newport will play Leicester City
Here’s the draw in full:
Accrington v Ipswich
Aston Villa v Swansea
Bolton v Walsall/Sunderland
