Norwich City have been credited with showing an interest in Leeds’ 19 year old goalkeeper, Bailey Peacock-Farrell says HITC Sport.
Naturally we are no the only ones interested with Tottenham, West Ham, Villa, Everton, Sunderland and Derby all reportedly having watched the lad.
He was released by Middlesbrough aged just 16 because they thought he was too small but he found his way to Leeds and made his debut for the Whites in Tuesday night’s 1-1 draw with QPR. Steve Evans gave him his debut after a suspension for regular No:1, Marco Silvestri.
Peacock-Farrell’s contract expires at the end of the season, hence the circling of the big fish, although Leeds feel fairly confident of getting an extension signed.
