Norwich City and West Brom are both tracking Peterborough midfielder, Chris Forrester according to the Irish Independent

The 24 year old Dubliner has been a big hit with the Posh, since joining from St. Pats in summer 2015 and is now the team captain.

Originally brought in as an attacking midfielder, Forrester has moved into a more conventional midfield role and has a decent range of passing as well as scoring 5 in 59 appearances for Posh.

Injuries have left Alex Neil extremely short of midfielders with only Jonny Howson and Alex Tettey currently available. The latter is on the verge of a two game ban after picking up his ninth booking of the season at the weekend against Southampton and with his dodgy knees, three games in a week is a stretch for the combative Norwegian.

Both City and the baggies reportedly had scouts watching this lad in the FA cup tie with Chelsea at the weekend.

If I had to put money on where we will strengthen this month, I`d say in midfield. We all know of the need to sign centre backs and strikers but at least we do have players for those positions, although they`re not all great.
