Just a quick one as I’m short of time to write much but I couldn’t let tonight pass by without mention of yet another Canary victory over the old enemy, Ipswich Town by two goals to nil at Colney on Monday afternoon in a development game.

Josh Murphy scored both goals in the first half, the first from the penalty spot before a dominant City side then saw themselves denied time and again by the visiting goal keeper.

GOALS: Canaries: Josh Murphy (24 pen., 43)

NORWICH CITY: Killip; Hall-Johnson, Coker, Crowe, Efete; Jacob Murphy (Josh Murphy, 70), McGrandles, Thompson (Grant, 73), Josh Murphy (Jake Hallahan, 45) King (Norman, 73), Loza (Eaton-Collins, 77). Subs not used: Oxborough (GK).

As a quick aside, Twitter has been full of Town fans recently, banging on about Paul Anderson’s goal against Norwich in the play-off first leg and that it will ‘live long in the memory.’

To be fair, the lad got himself a big move to Bradford on the back of that six yard tap in and a ceiling repair!
