The last home game of the season is almost upon us and the officials have been announced.
Both Norwich and Leeds are currently sitting on 57 points in joint 12th place. With 11th placed Sheffield United on 66 points, the reality of the situation is that the best position either side can achieve is going to be 12th.
This is very much a mid-table mediocrity game with almost nothing to play for. There is though, the small matter of the Pride of East Anglia to play for with our old mates from down the A140 sitting just one point behind in 14th place.
If Norwich win this game and Ipswich lose then the title is ours.
So, what sort of ref will we have? Better than the last one to visit Carrow Road, I hope.
Referee: John Brooks
Refereeās Assistants: Lee Venamore & Nigel Lugg
Fourth Official: Brett Huxtable
Mr Brooks has predominantly overseen League One and League Two games this season, having only taken charge of Championship games on three occasions.
He has officiated over 48 games so far, showing 144 yellow cards and 6 red cards. His most prolific game was in the League One meeting between Bristol Rovers and Walsall, which ended 2-1 to Rovers and saw 9 yellows and 1 red brandished.
Fingers crossed this is a little quieter for him and us.
