Norwich City are set to complete the signing of Kenny McLean from Aberdeen in the next day or so, report the EDP
The 26 year old midfielder has been prominent in the rumour mill in the last week with Rangers also said to have been keen, after attempting to sign him last summer.
There is though, the prospect of the player being loaned back to Pittodrie for the rest of the season, making the move to Norfolk next summer. This is all just speculation at the moment but the fact it`s being spoken about at all suggests it`s been considered at some point and bearing in mind our current options, is probably a fair shout.
He is described as a central midfielder, who can also play on the left and with Harrison Reed and Alex Tettey unlikely to be here next season, a replacement or two would be needed.
With regard to the fee, the EDP reckon it is considerably less than the £500k reported last week for a player who is out of contract at the end of the season and has told Aberdeen that he won`t be signing another one.
