Norwich Winger Joins Championship Side

|

Ben Marshall will join Millwall on loan for the rest of the season, reports the EDP.

Having been the subject of a tug-of-war between the two sides last summer, which Norwich ultimately won, Marshall has found game time hard to come by at Carrow Road.

The 27-year-old winger moved to Norwich in a £1.5m move from Wolves and started the season at right back in place of the injured Ivo Pinto, who most assumed would be City’s first choice there.

The emergence of Max Aarons in that position though, coupled with a couple of dodgy performances, meant that Marshall then found himself benched as the Canaries went from strength to strength.

Marshall has recently been the subject of transfer speculation from Birmingham and Ipswich but after being seen in the stands at the New Den last weekend, a move back to Millwall, where he spent the second half of last season was clearly his preferred choice.

Best of luck, Ben.
