Pacy Winger On Norwich City’s Radar

|

Norwich City are clearly after a pacy winger, speculation over the last few days and weeks has shown as much. Last week, City’s Sporting Director, Stuart Webber was in Romania, talking to FCSB about their winger, Dennis Man and on Monday night another name emerged.

A name that, if I’m honest, I can’t even begin to pronounce.

Przemyslaw Placheta plays for Slask Wroclaw and, according to reports in his native Poland, he is close to leaving this summer with Norwich City being linked as a possible destination.

Placheta was previously on the books of RB Leipzig in Germany but has been tearing it up at Slask since joining them in 2019. He has eight goals in 34 appearances this season with four assists and he scored on Sunday night in Slask’s 2-2 draw with Pogon Szczecin.

He would appear to tick all the right boxes for City and is likely to cost less than the €15m that Webber was reportedly told that Dennis Man would cost him.
