Norwich and Crystal Palace have reportedly come to an agreement for the transfer of Robbie Brady. This is being reported by plenty of media outlets including the Irish Times

The fee is being reported as £9m ‘plus add-ons’ which I have to say sounds a little cheap. Perhaps that is an initial fee with the rest in instalments or performance based payments. This particular report suggests a final fee of £12m if all of these add-on payments are met.

Burnley had been the favourites to sign Brady but have reportedly agreed a fee of £10m for Hull City’s ex-Canary, Robert Snodgrass this lunchtime.

To my mind they are of a similar standing in the football world but Brady is five years younger and has more time left on his current contract.

Anyway, once Robbie is sold, expect the ‘domino effect’ to start.
