Positive News For Norwich Ahead Of Hull Test

|

Daniel Farke has no new injury concerns ahead of Wednesday evening’s visit from Hull City.

Talking to the assembled media at Colney on Tuesday lunchtime, the City Head Coach said he was very pleased with the contribution of four senior players in Monday’s U23 2-2 draw with Stoke and that all the players who were available for Swansea will be available to face Hull.

Louis Thompson played 72 minutes with Michael McGovern, Felix Passlack and Philip Heise all played the full 90 minutes.

Thompson’s value as a “homegrown player” will be very useful and Farke said that he could come into his thinking for the trip to Rotherham and that after the upcoming international break, he should be fully fit again.

Thompson has had yet another injury-blighted season but fingers crossed that he can contribute before the end of the season.

In terms of the Hull game, Farke emphasised the need for concentration and getting things right, while cool heads and holding their nerve will be crucial as the season runs down in the coming weeks.

That includes the supporters and unity on and off the field is important. I get the impression that the recent crowd-funded support efforts have made a real impression on Farke and the Canaries top brass and Farke wants us all to sing the boys over the line. Make sure you bring your scarves and flags.
