QPR v Norwich Rate The Players

|

What about that then? You wait ages for an away win and then two come along in the space of a week.

Just like against Reading on Wednesday night, there wasn’t really a bad performance among the Canary ranks as, particularly in the first half, they controlled the ball with 70 odd percent possession.

As ever, here is your chance to rate the Norwich players as you see fit. You can take your pick as to who you think did well, or not but as I say, I don’t think anybody played badly.

If I had to pick a man of the match, I would go for Jamal Lewis.

Lewis was sensational going forwards and neat and tidy when defending. He was part of the master plan to get at Rangers, as time and again it was noticeable that the City players were looking to get him in against Alex Baptiste. Jamal’s best moment came in the first half when he put in an excellent cross that Teemu Pukki was only inches away from converting as he stretched at the far post.

With Northern Ireland manager, Michael O’Neil watching on from the stand, Lewis is quickly becoming a superstar in these here parts. Can we hang on to him? We might just have to get promoted to do that.

Anyway, light up the stars and get your opinion out there.
