Norwich City are not looking to sell Nathan Redmond and have not ‘slapped a £15m’ price tag on their young winger.
Last night, The Daily Mirror suggested that Crystal Palace are considering Redmond, should Yannick Boloasie leave Selhurst Park. However, The Pink ‘Un report a source close to the club and state that Redmond is not for sale and the club have not had any offers for him.
Redmond’s contract expires in 2017, something that City boss Alex Neil spoke about recently.
Asked specifically about Redmond and veteran midfielder Gary O`Neil, whose contract runs out this summer, Neil told the EDP: ‘We`ve got plans in place in terms of going forward.
“Obviously Nathan is in a completely different situation to what Gary would be. Gary`s in the later end of his career and Nathan is a young lad who has got a huge development in front of him.
“We will be taking that into account and trying to deal with that in the background but obviously there`s no news as such at the minute, but we won`t be leaving it until the last minute when they`re out of contract.”
Redmond has been hot and cold for much of his Norwich career but is a very talented boy. He has huge promise it really needs to step it up sooner rather than later.
