River End To Be Renamed

Norwich City have today announced a new “long term” stand partnership with Regency Security Services.

The River End will no longer be known as “The Norwich & Peterborough Stand” and will become the “Regency Security Stand.”

Not in my mind it won`t – it`ll always be The River End.

It also turns out that the owner of Regency Security is called Gary Powers and he`s a Norwich fan. He`s come a long way since his U2 spy plane was shot down over Russia in 1960.

Let`s hope that it`s longer term than that lot from the Irish coffee company, eh!?
