Spurs Reportedly In Advanced Talks For Norwich Star Man

|

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly in advanced talks over a deal to sign Max Aarons in the summer.

The source of the story is a slightly unusual one for me, as it comes via another fan blog called The Boy Hotspur.com. The story has been picked up by Teamtalk and it’s being featured on Apple News, as a result.

According to the report, a source close to the club says that Spurs are currently negotiating personal terms with Aarons’s representatives with a view to making him a summer signing. The Canaries’ Star Man on the right, attracted interest from Barcelona and Bayern Munich last summer but City held firm and kept hold of Max, along with Emi Buendia, Todd Cantwell and Teemu Pukki.

All four of them have been hugely important in getting us to the point where we are ten points clear of second place with 12 games to go but it does look like this summer could be a big one in terms of transfers for Norwich.

Who stays and who goes will be fascinating and potentially frustrating too.

This story is just the latest linking a star player away from Carrow Road and I imagine we can expect plenty more as the summer approaches.
