Bournemouth manager, Eddie Howe is hoping to improve his squad with two new additions before the transfer window shuts tonight according to The Bournemouth Daily Echo.
The two men understood to be his top targets are Derby striker, Johnny Russell and Norwich City’s Andrew Surman.
Surman featured prominently in pre-season but has started only one league game against Wolves and the Capital One Cup win over Crawley. Neil Adams publicly voiced his desire to keep Surman and extend his contract, earlier in the summer but Surman has been stalling.
Adams suggested in the local press that Surman had a decision to make about his future adding that there is an offer from City on the table.
It seems that his decision is over whether to move to Bournemouth or accept a new contract at Carrow Road.
According to The Daily Echo, there is an offer on the table from Bournemouth and that the decision will rest with the player. If he wants to go, as he just has one year left on his contract, the deal will be done for a fee of around £500k.
Should he stay or should he go?
