City boss Paul Lambert has named an unchanged team to face Colchester United this afternoon.

Michael Nelson gets the nod ahead of new signing Zak Whitbread alongside Gary Doherty in the centre of defence, but there is no place in the squad for former U’s striker Jamie Cureton.

As expected Kevin Lisbie partners Clive Platt for the hosts, who have former Canary Ian Henderson on the bench.

COLCHESTER UNITED: Williams, Okuonghae, White, Tierney, Fox, Izzet, Batth, Ifil, Platt, Lisbie, Wordsworth. Subs: Cousins (GK), Baldwin, Hackney, Odejayi, Gillespie, Heath, Henderson.

NORWICH CITY: Forster, Drury, Nelson, R.Martin, Holt (c), Doherty, Hoolahan, C.Martin, Lappin, Russell, Smith. Subs: Rudd (GK), Gill, Hughes, McNamee, McDonald, Whitbread, Johnson.
