Matt Jarvis has suffered another set back in a season in which he is yet to play for the first team.

Jarvis had surgery at the start of the season on his knee, which kept him out until the new year when he started training again and made a few appearances for the U23s. Since then, he’s had hamstring trouble and now has an issue with his hip – it seems highly unlikely that he will play at all this season.

Graham Dorrans is still out with his ankle but according to Alan Irvine, when speaking to the press at Colney on Friday, the City midfielder could return to training over the weekend.

Other than Jarvis, Irvine has no new injury concerns ahead of the two games in three days at home against Fulham on Friday and then at Preston on Monday.

Fulham will again be without defender, Denis Odoi but other than the full back, Slavisa Jokanovic will have a full squad to choose from.

Scott Parker and Lucas Piazon both returned to the squad for the 3-1 win over Ipswich, while Jokanovic looks set to stick with Marcus Bettinelli in goal after he replaced David Button for the win over Ipswich.
