The Athletic Podcast – Can Norwich Bounce Back?

|

Can Norwich City bounce straight back to the Premier League?

It’s the question that is on the lips of every member of the Canary Nation as we all try to analyse the situation after relegation. There are, of course, a huge number of other questions on the back of this thought too?

Is the current squad good enough to win promotion again? Are the same players, now two years older, just as hungry and driven to succeed as they were before? Is Daniel Farke the right man to lead the Canaries back to the promised land of the Premier League and if they did bounce back, can they finally stay there?

There’s a lot of thinking and talking to be done between now and September 12th but to help you out along the way is The Athletic Podcast brought to you by The Athletic’s Norwich City correspondent, Michael Bailey.

Each week or so he is joined by a couple of fans, pundits, former players or interested observers and this week he is joined by @ncfcnumbers and Ben Mouncer.

In this episode, the Canaries’ new signings are discussed as well as whether or not Farke can lead City to promotion again. Click This link have a listen and enjoy!

The player should take full responsibility, after promotion they all said let’s show the premier league how good we are, they did that, with many records broken all for the wrong reasons, they have to sit and think long and hard, they will never have a team like that again, but we still were the poor mans team an utter disgrace, so for me even a top six finish would be better than nothing, I wouldn’t worry about promotion for quite some time, they need a team first, the manager is entitled to another shot, let’s see hoe the season pans out
