This episode of The Coop & Duck Podcast is a little bit of a coup for the boys, because there’s a special guest in the form of Canary fan and football editor of The Sun, Charlie Wyett.

Chris and Charlie cover all sorts of topics to do with all things Norwich, from Alex Neil and his £2m pay off and the real reasons that he was finally sacked, to the diabolical recruitment of the last two years.

There are also loads of little snippets about things most of us probably hadn’t heard of.

For example, did you know that Michail Antonio was keener on a move to Norwich City than he was on his eventual move to West Ham? The player wanted to come but Norwich wouldn’t pay the £4m asking price – a very effective player that slipped through our fingers.

Instead, we loaned in and then bought, Matt Jarvis.

Then there’s Cameron Jerome’s new contract – Charlie says he’s on £34k pw and what about Steven Naismith? A player who didn’t have a relegation pay cut written into his contract.

There’s loads more stuff and this is a very interesting listen for all City fans, I can’t recommend it highly enough.
