The day has started with one deal looking increasingly likely to happen.

Lucciano Becchio was seen in Norwich at the ground yesterday by several people (including the man in front of me at the Fish & Chip van outside the ground last night) and it seems Steve Morison is going the other way as a replacement.

After the match in his post match interview on Radio Norfolk, Chris Hughton admitted this deal was ongoing and he was hopeful it would be happening.

10.30 Sky Sports report that City have made a fourth bid for Celtic’s Gary Hooper.
Let’s hope we can pay what they want.

11.20 Voetball International report that Ricky Van Wolfswinkel is still a target for City and Sporting will do business for around £10m. They also say that his ex Utrecht team mate, Jacob Mulenga is a back up plan if a deal for RVW cannot be done. Mulenga’s Zambia have just crashed out of the African Cup Of Nations.

11.25 Sky Sports confirm that Steve Morison is currently at Leeds United’s Training Ground.

11.35 BBC Wiltshire say that they understand Chris Martin’s loan deal at Swindon will be extended.

12.06 Lucciano Becchio signs for Norwich City with Steve Morison going to Leeds in a cash/player swap deal. Becchio signs a 3.5yr deal.

12.33 Sky Sports suggest a deal is close for Birmingham’s Curtis Davies – still no word on the 4th bid for Hooper.

12.50 Sky Sports report we have bid £2m for Davies, possibly with a player going the other way as well.

14.26 BBC Sport suggest Norwich have offered £1.5m plus £500k add ons and a player (beleived to be Leon Barnett). The Blues are yet to reply.

17.40 BBC East report that the Davies deal has stalled. It’s all about money – The Blues want more than the £2m + Leon Barnett that City have offered.

20.55 Celtic are still adamant that Gary Hooper is not leaving. BBC Scotland state Celtic have rejected another bid from City – valued at around £9m – Strewth!

21.20 Neil Lennon takes to twitter to deny any further bids for Hooper – I thought £9m seemed a bit ridiculous. He also reiterates that his man is not for sale.

22.30 David McNally tweets that there will be no more transfer business involving City.
Sky Sports report that there were only four bids from Norwich for Hooper and the phantom fifth, £9m bid, did not happen.
