Turkish Champions Enquire About Norwich Winger

|

Norwich City’s flying Cuban winger, Onel Hernandez has been the subject of a “firm enquiry” from Turkish Super Lig Champions Istanbul Basaksehir according to journalist, Alan Nixon.

Hernandez played a big part in the Canaries’ 2018/19 Championship title winning side, playing as that sides’ only really pacy attacking option, but he was injured for the first half of last season.

He has been a regular member of this season’s side too and is expected to play a big part in proceedings this time around as well.

The deadline for international transfers is Monday 5th October at 11pm, although the Premier League will still be able to trade with EFL clubs for another week after that.

So, if anything is going to happen here then it’s going to have to be very soon. It’s worth noting that these Turkish suitors do have the possibility of Champions League football as bait for any prospective signing but even so, I’d be very surprised if City let him go at this stage of the window.

I think we all love Onel and I for one, would be very disappointed to see him fly the nest.
