Norwich City defender, Michael Turner has signed a new contract extension that will keep him at the club until 2016 with the option of another year after that.

It follows in the wake of extensions for Ryan Bennett and Wes Hoolahan and is more good business. By manager, Neil Adams.

Turner has started the season well and was my man of the match against Wolves, he then followed that up with good performances against Watford with Troy Deeney and Blackburn with Jordan Rhodes – arguably the league’s most dangerous strikers. Along with the rest of the back four, he played his part in keeping them both quiet.

Neil Adams said: “Michael has been outstanding since I came into the job.

“That includes last season as well; he`s carried on the form he showed in those final few games into pre-season and then the start of this season.

“He fully deserves his new contract and we`re absolutely delighted that he`s signed on the dotted line.”

Good news.
