Wednesday night is always the night to watch the Pink ‘Un Show and if you follow Vital Norwich then you’ll know that every now and again I get an invite to appear as a guest.
This Wednesday was one of those days and I duly pitched up at the Woolpack public-house at 5.45 for a 6 pm start.
This was a little unusual as it was a debut appearance by my son, Callum who has watched me do the show over the last couple of years and fancied a go too. The last time I was on was back in the autumn with Talk Norwich City’s, Chris Reeve and at the end, Callum asked me about coming on the show.
I had a word with the show’s host, the EDP’s Michael Bailey and he said “Sure, no problem.”
So, the next time I got an invite, so did Callum.
When we arrived, we also had a third guest, the legendary Spud Thornhill, Norwich City fan extraordinaire and occasional fourth official.
As ever, the show was great fun with plenty of laughs, a few digs at our old mates down the A140, a look ahead at Bristol City and the “flip the bird” beer mat challenge. I won’t spoil the result of that for you but I did do better than last time when I was humiliated live on YouTube by Chris Reeve!
