Having not started a game for Norwich for a month, Nelson Oliveira was only fit enough to play the final 16 minutes of City`s game with Hull on Saturday but he still able to fire home a 96th minute equaliser that keeps the Canaries` unbeaten run (now at 8 games) going.

After the game, the fiery Portuguese striker spoke to the press. After saying that he was pleased not to have felt any pain from his niggling groin injury, he only went and said that Norwich are a better club than Ipswich.

This is what he had to say to the Pink ‘Un

“I know it`s an important match for us and for the fans because it`s a derby, and we go there to win the game because we are better than them, we have better players than them, we are a better club than them, so we go there for the win.

“I`ve played in a few derbies in Portugal. To be fair in every country I have been I`ve played in derbies. Even at Nottingham Forest I played against Derby, and that`s a massive derby as well.”

It`s not often that we have a City player stir things up like that, certainly not in recent times but having been caught up in the moment, he probably just said what he thought and feels about the game.

The bottom line is that we do have better players than Ipswich Town and that on paper, we should win this game.

However, it`s a derby game and anything can happen and football isn`t played on paper.

Let`s see what the rest of this week`s build up brings…
