Webber Signs On Again

|

Norwich City’s Sporting Director, arguably the architect of their success, Stuart Webber, will sign a new long-term contract with the club this week, according to The Telegraph.

The Telegraph’s John Percy reports that Webber will sign a new three-year-deal this week, committing his long-term future to the Canaries, just like Daniel Farke has already done.

The news is another huge shot in the arm for City and their fan base, following on from that remarkable 3-2 victory over Manchester City at the weekend.

Webber’s wife, Zoe Ward has been working at the club alongside her husband, having been brought to the club by former CEO, David McNally and it would seem that the arrangement is working out.

Ward was formerly director of football administration at Norwich, having held the role of Club Secretary at Liverpool (where she met Webber) and Fulham (where she was appointed by McNally).

Webber and Ward, along with Ben Kensell make up the Canaries’ Executive Committee, which it’s fair to say, has worked rather well up to this point.

The fact that Webber is committing long-term is brilliant news.

ON THE BALL CITY!!!
