West Brom are reportedly taking a look at Wes Hoolahan with a view to offering the Norwich City legend a short-term contract says footballinsider.com
Hoolahan made 352 appearances for the Canaries in a ten-year career, having brought to the club by Glenn Roeder as a replacement for the departing Darren Huckerby.
City took advantage of Wes’ Blackpool release clause back in 2008, which had been set at a paltry £250k and the rest, as they say, is history.
According to football insider, West Brom manager, Darren Moore is keen to take a look at Hoolahan over the international break and he’s supposedly been invited for a trial, to allow both parties to size each other up.
The loss of Hoolahan to Norwich City’s squad at the same time as James Maddison has left has been keenly felt in these parts and I for one still think he could’ve been doing a job in the Championship this season.
