City left back Rhoys Wiggins is on the verge of a month-long loan move to Bournemouth.

Wiggins only joined the club from Crystal Palace in the summer, and spent four months on loan with the Cherries a month ago where he made thirteen appearances.

The 22-year-old has made just three appearances for the Canaries this season.

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe told the Bournemouth Echo:

“We are thankful to Norwich and their manager Paul Lambert for allowing us to have Rhoys and he is going to be a really good addition to the squad.

“He was excellent for us last season and I thought he was outstanding. Hopefully, he can reproduce that form for the month he is with us…

“…We know him and he knows us. He is only here for 28 days but he won`t need time to settle in because he is used to everybody and that was an important part in the decision…”

The news comes on the same day as the club confirmed that Stockport defender Michael Rose was set to sign on loan for the rest of the season.
