Zeegelaar Rejects Norwich

Marvin Zeegelaar has rejected the chance to join Norwich City according to a report from Voetbal International

The report suggests that despite a deal being agreed between City and Sporting Lisbon for a fee of around ?3.5m, that the player himself has decided that a move to a 10th placed Championship side is not in the best interests of his career.

So, that means that two promising Dutch defenders, who currently play for big European clubs, have knocked back the chance of a move to Norfolk within 48hrs of each other.

With Martin Olsson gone and Robbie Brady seemingly on the verge of a move, the Canaries are going to be drastically short of left sided defensive cover with just four days left in the transfer window.

It’s oh, so predictable from a fan’s point of view.

If I were you Jez, I think I’d be calling Fleetwood Town or Bradford City because let’s be honest, why would these Dutch lads, in their position want to take a big step down to mid-Championship level?

It’s not like we’re in with a shout of being promoted, is it?!
