Bournemouth have reached an agreement with Wolves for striker, Benik Afobe report HITC Sport.

The Mirror are reporting that Norwich have given up on Afobe amid reports that The Cherries have reached an agreement for a fee of around £12m.

Yesterday came the story that Norwich had turned down an £8m bid from Bournemouth for Lewis Grabban, something that Alex Neil did not deny in his press conference on Friday. Neil was cryptic in his answer but didn’t deny it.

“Norwich City fear they`ve lost out in the chase for Wolves striker Benik Adobe – to Premier League rivals Bournemouth. Sources have told Mirror Sport that they believe Afobe`s representatives have already agreed a deal with Eddie Howe`s Cherries,” the Mirror report reads.

Afobe joined Wolves from Arsenal a year ago for a mere £2m and he’s scored 10 goals in 27 appearances this season.

I reckon we should’ve sold Grabban for £8m and paid £12m for Afobe – assuming this is factual, of course.
