Former Norwich City midfielder, Dickson Etuhu has been questioned by Swedish Police over allegations of match fixing, reports The Times via the Daily Mail

Etuhu, 35, is now a football agent and was questioned by officers from a special sports crime unit about the Gothenburg vs AIK game in May, which was called off after AIK goalkeeper Kenny Stamatopoulos claimed that he had been offered £180,000 to “under-perform” in that match.

Hakan Sjostrand, secretary general of the Swedish FA, told The Times: “It was a mixture of money and concrete threats, special circumstances that convinced me that we cannot play this match.’

This story is also being carried by the EDP

The EDP report that Etuhu is understood to have denied all the allegations put to him.
