Norwich City are playing a match behind closed doors against Cambridge Utd on Wednesday.
The game, at Cambridge’s Abbey Stadium, has been organised to give match time of Norwich’s recovering first team stars.
United manager Jimmy Quinn told the Cambridge Evening News: ‘Norwich had a game against West Ham last night, but they’ve got three or four first-team players coming back from injury who need a game, so it will be a good workout for us.’
It is expected that Darren Huckerby and Julien Brellier will both feature in the game.
Should they come through unscathed, the duo may play a part in City’s final preseason friendly against Vitesse Arnhem at Carrow Road on Friday (7.45pm).
