City striker Oli Johnson will sign for Yeovil Town on Monday, according to reports.

Johnson had recently trained with Scunthorpe but returned to the Carrow Road after the two clubs failed to agree a financial package.

Speaking ahead of today’s game against the Iron, Glovers boss Terry Skiverton told BBC Somerset that he expected everything to go through on Monday:

‘It’s all been agreed, with the personal terms of bringing him in on loan. But we’ve got to wait until Monday to make sure that everything is rubber-stamped,’ he said.

‘But I envisage seeing Oli training with us on Monday. He’ll give us another dimension and something a little bit different. I know that he can come in, and we can definitely go back to that formation that worked for us so well last year.

‘If we do manage to get it over the line, then I think we’ll be very strong.’

Johnson scored four times in City’s League One title-winning campaign after joining from Stockport but was limited to just half a dozen substitute appearances last season.

He spent three months on loan at Yeovil where he scored three times in seventeen appearances, and has one year left on his contract with the Canaries.
