A couple of websites are today linking City with a summer move for Spurs full back, Kyle Naughton.
The 25 year old has struggled to make an impact at Spurs after a double deal with Kyle Naughton, valued at around £9m(!) took both players from Sheffield United to White Hart Lane in 2009.
Naughton was on loan at Carrow Road under Paul Lambert during the Canaries’ first season back in the Premier League and I have to say, he did okay.
I know he’s not too well thought of by Spurs fans but would Hughton really be in the market for him?
I just can’t see it. He’s not better than Russell Martin and we have Whittaker as back up. In my opinion though, he is better than Whittaker, but unless the Scot is going somewhere, then we don’t need him.
It’s an easy link to make and probably a bit lazy…
