It has been just over two weeks since the transfer window opened officially and the club has already completed an important number of deals to date – Mr. Webber is ‘for sure’ a shrewd operator.

Today we bring you a summary with all the senior team moves and their respective “unofficial” reported fees – don`t know if I ever saw a transfer fee considered to be “official”.

In some cases, when there is no reported fee, the market value of the player according to Transfermarkt was incorporated.

Cristoph Zimmermann (Borussia Dortmund II, Free)

Angus Gunn (Manchester City, Loan)

——————————————————————–
Total Income: £7.3m (13 players)

Players recently linked to leave the club:

Estimated profit on sale of players: £4.9m

Hopefully it doesn`t look like too much as an income statement – whether you enjoy accounting or not.

After the sale of Howson, it seems to me that there would still be room to buy one or two players, given the current state of financial affairs – although Michael Bailey of the EDP has strongly suggested that all the profit of Howson`s departure would go to cover a few financial holes left by the previous administration.

Nevertheless, recent reports have stated that there is still strong interest from Norwich City to strike a deal with Union Berlin for Toni Leistner – an improved bid would be required.

Personally I would really like for us to get Leistner. With Klose, Franke, Martin and Zimmermann already in the ranks, we would have a really solid defensive unit there.
