Here`s a little snippet for you regarding ex-Canary, Chris Martin and possible interest from Norwich City as reported by the Northern Echo
The “story” is basically all around Chris Coleman trying to get Martin in on loan at Sunderland, having seen moves for Jon Walters and Liverpool`s young striking sensation, Ben Woodburn not come to fruition.
Coleman is desperately short up front with Lewis Grabban returning to Bournemouth at his request and James Vaughan having been sold to Wigan.
Meanwhile at Derby, Martin is basically fourth or fifth choice now that the Rams have brought in Cameron Jerome, with 18 of his 23 appearances this season coming from the bench. He is ripe for a loan move although he`s on a big salary at Pride Park.
The Echo say that Reading have held talks with Martin`s representatives and that Norwich are “understood to be interested.” That`s it really, but I thought you may enjoy the link.
Would we want him back and why is he no longer a regular starter at Derby? Something happened?
