Three Norwich City players have been called up for Alex McLeish`s first squad as the new Scotland manager but only one of them currently plays at Carrow Road.

Grant Hanley has earned a recall after some frankly awesome defensive displays of late, while Russell Martin (on loan at Rangers) and Kenny McLean (on loan at Aberdeen) are also on the squad sheet.

Scotland host Costa Rica in a friendly on Friday, March 23 (7:45pm) before facing Hungary on Tuesday, March 27 (7pm).

The big news though surrounds a first Northern Ireland call up for young Jamal Lewis, who gets the nod from Michael O`Neill, alongside Michael McGovern.

The Academy graduate is enjoying a break through season at Norwich and has made the left full/wing back slot his own, despite only making his first team debut in late December after an injury suffered in pre-season.

Although Daniel Farke was hoping Jamal could have a little rest during the International break, this is positive news for the lad and one that should give him another shot in the arm, after the trust shown in him by Farke.

Northern Ireland play the Korean Republic on Saturday, March 24 (2pm).
