Norwich City, along with Newcastle are interested in Stoke City striker, Mame Biram Diouf, report The Sun.

The 28 year old Senegalese international has found game time hard to come by this season after the return of Bojan to the Stoke side, having scored 12 goals last season in the Premier League. This season, he has just 3 goals to his name, one of which came against Norwich in August at Carrow Road.

He has two years left on his contract and The Sun report that both Norwich and Newcastle will test The Potters’ resolve to keep their man, with an offer before the transfer window closes.

Diouf is a very powerful, athletic player who would seem to fit the lone striker role very well. Supported by Steven Naismith, he could be very handy indeed as we saw Mbokani look more of a threat with Naismith behind him on Saturday.
