Norwich City have agreed a deal to sign Irish U19 midfielder, Simon Power from League of Ireland side UCD according to the Irish Sun as reported by the EDP
We`re only talking about a nominal fee with the prospect of add ons being where any real renumeration will come for UCD. He`s apparently a quick wide player, who made 10 appearances for UCD with his contract set to expire at the end of the year.
It sounds as though he`s the sort of player who has potential and that we`ve taken a punt because he`s not going to cost us a lot. The 19 year old is set to sign a deal until 2020 with the Canaries.
With none of our existing wingers have really made a big impact, getting another prospect into the squad seems sensible.
