NORWICH have unveiled former Newcastle and West Ham manager Glenn Roeder as their new manager, at a Carrow Road press conference this morning.

Roeder, 51, takes over a club rooted to the foot of the Championship table, with an embarrassing scoring record and an outspoken winger.

The club also announced Jim Duffy had left Norwich following his three games in temporary charge.

The new manager has a coach and assistant placed to join him on the Norwich bench. Both are currently emplyed with other clubs, and for that reason, Roeder was unable to nake either.

But he expects to be able to announce the appointments in the near future.

Roeder also explained how he hates criticising players in public. The Norwich squad will therefore love him.

Is Roeder the right man to turn it around? Plenty more reaction and comment to follow…
