Alex Tettey could be the next big name out of the door at Carrow Road according to The Mirror Transfer Blog, via HITC Sport

The experienced midfielder has reportedly been told he can leave and with just 12 months left on his contract, a fee of around £1m could be enough to see Alex move on.

Signed by Chris Hughton in 2012, for a rumoured fee of just £2m, the 31 year old has been a destructive fixture in the City midfield ever since. He is probably on pretty decent money and with Harrison Reed and Tom Trybull seemingly ahead of him in the pecking order, if a suitor comes forward then he could be off.

It seems in line with the transfer/salary policy that Stuart Webber has introduced, trimming the wage bill and moving on the big earners but I can’t help thinking, especially after the Millwall embarrassment, that Alex could be exactly what our midfield needs right now.

The source of this is only a snippet from the Mirror Transfer blog but even so, behind the seems I wouldn’t be at all surprised if moves are afoot to sell him on.

Having said that, if Daniel Farke doesn’t see us going in the direction that would have Tettey involved, then it’s best for all parties.
