It’s not just the opposition and stadiums that will be different for the Canaries next season.

The League One campaign will begin on Saturday 8th August, the weekend before the first round of Carling Cup games take place.

Thanks to relegation to the third tier of English football for the first time since 1960 City will enter the FA Cup in the First Round, with those ties taking place on the weekend 7th November.

The Johnstone’s Paint Trophy will also be a new experience for many (unless your name is Chris Martin or Michael Spillane), where the first round matches in the Southern Section take place week commencing 31st August.
