Today’s transfer rumours don’t know if they’re coming or going…

Paul Lambert appears to have turned his attention to Huddersfield’s Anthony Pilkington after it was revealed Leeds want £8m for Robert Snodgrass (good luck with that).

The Express say City have tabled a bid of £1.75m for Pilkington but Huddersfield are holding out for £2m for the 23-year-old, who scored 11 goals in 36 league and cup appearances for the Terriers last season. Stoke and Wolves are also reported to be interested.

The Craig Mackail-Smith saga (I think we can safely call it a saga now) doesn’t appear to be any closer to coming to a close. Cody McDonald has previously been mooted as potential bait for any deal, and that little nugget seems to have reared its head again.

Cody meanwhile is still interesting Millwall, and Oldham want him on a season-long loan.

Wigan winger Victor Moses has been linked with a £2m move to Norfolk, and the Canaries are said to planning a swoop (got to love a good swoop) for Blackburn midfielder Keith Andrews.

Fellow Premier League new-boys Swansea have had a bid for former City loan striker Leroy Lita rejected by Middlesbrough, says Sky Sports.

And in other former-Canaries-to-Swansea-related news, the Swans are chasing Ryan Bertrand as are Wolves, who want Swansea number one Dorus de Vries.
